James Franco calls asking out 17-year-old Scottish student 'bad judgment'

Washington:James Franco opened up about the awkward encounter he recently had with a 17-year-old Scottish student on ` Live! with Kelly and Michael .`
The 35-year-old actor`s appearance on the show took place the same week text messages and online chats surfaced between him and a young girl named Lucy Clode,reportedly.

In the exchange, Franco suggested possibly meeting Clode at a hotel - apparently being unaware that she was just 17.

Franco said that he was embarrassed and that he used bad judgment and learned his lesson.

He explained that since he has a very good life, not only does he have to go through the embarrassing kind of rituals of kind of meeting someone, sometimes if her does that then it gets published for the world which helps it make doubly embarrassing.
